Trade mark “Obolon”, which has been already known for its supporting National and youth Ukraine teams, became a title sponsor of the final Ukrainian Cup 2007 match. It was declared at press conference that took place in the “House of Football” on Thursday, May 24, by Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) vice-president Volodymyr Lashkul. This press conference was devoted to preparing and holding of the match between Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv.
Cooperation continuation
“FFU and trade mark “Obolon” are very satisfied with continuation of cooperation, - noticed Volodymyr Lashkul. – “Obolon” became FFU and “Ukraine Football International” (UFI) company partner before the final World Cup 2006 stage. Now it will take care of the deciding Ukrainian Cup match, after which we will continue our negotiations. Perhaps, FFU, UFI and “Obolon” would strike four years bargain concerning the partnership in Ukrainian Cup. It is very probable that next four years this tournament would be called “Obolon’ – Ukrainian cup.
Few tickets left
As to the match between Shakhtar and Dynamo that will be played on Sunday, May 27, on National Sport Complex (NSC) “Olympiyskiy” Volodymyr Lashkul mentioned that there is a great fans’ interest to this match. “62.5 thousands tickets came to booking, 51 thousand of which has already been sold, - FFU vice-president informed. – 27 495 were bought by Shakhtar Donetsk, more than 14 000 – by Dynamo Kyiv, 10 000 tickets more were sold in cash boxes. 4-5 thousands tickets are being sold every day”.
