Ukrainian grandees “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar”, who has got over their semi-final opponents today, will meet in Ukrainian Cup final match. In Kyiv fine shots of Kleber, Rodrigo, Rinkon and Oleg Gusev brought “Dynamo” a victory over the “Metalist” - 4:2. Aggregate result became 5:2. “Tavriya” and “Shakhtar” ended a draw in Simferopol. This draw was a lucky result for the guests, because in the capital of Crimea the score 2:2 was fixed whereas in Donetsk the teams played 0:0. Therefore, thanks to the greater number of away goals, “Shakhtar” goes further.

Both semi-final matches went off to the accompaniment of congratulations concerning the Victory Day. Kyiv’s duel was preceded by a rich rain and it’s very likely that this fact inspired the footballers for the shower of goals. “Dynamo” players were dumbfounded on the 12th minute: Oleksiy Antonov played up Rodrigo on the penalty area’s corner and rolled out the ball to Ruslan Fomin who didn’t miss from several meters. But Anatoliy Demyanenko’s players didn’t panic and in two minutes led their first effective attack. Ruslan Rotan’s heading came into the horizontal bar, but he managed to pass the ball to Kleber who made a bean almost from the goal-line and was successful. Next three goals – on the 20th, 50th and 88th minutes - were scored thanks to penalties. To be more exact, firstly Rodrigo was the first one who scored after Rinkon’s miss from the point. Then the penalty was scored by Oleksandr Rykun, and later Rinkon also rehabilitated himself for the first miss by overdoing the goalkeeper Oleksandr Goryainov. Then Oleg Gusev took the opportunity of uncoordinated actions of goalkeeper and defenders on the 87th minute.
“Tavriya” – “Shakhtar” – 2:2
The champions were simply shocked by the attacks of Crimean players. On the third minute Volodymyr Gomenyuk succeeded to make a fantastic breakthrough when he slipped between Oleksandr Kucher, Dario Srna and kicked strongly into the upper corner of the goal. And in a few minutes Irmanas Zelmikas beautifully used the assist of Edmar from the free kick. Though, guests showed their well-known cup character and made a draw without waiting till the break. On the 23rd minute Dmytro Chygrynskiy scored after the corner by Dario Srna. In three minutes guests’ captain Matuzalem kicked in a very pretty way into the net after the pass from Zvonimir Vukich. Afterwards, both teams lost their chances to win the match and it ended a draw result that was a lucky result for “Shakhtar”.
